Joe Toler
Joe Toler is currently the Director of Athletics & Activities at the International School of London Qatar and a dedicated contributing member and advisor to the IAAAC. With over two decades of experience in education and athletics, Joe has held various leadership and coaching positions across the globe, including in the USA, South Korea, Russia, Lebanon, and now Uganda. Known for his innovative approach to athletics programming, Joe champions the development of inclusive pathways that allow students of all abilities to access sports and extracurricular activities. He is deeply committed to a holistic approach to international education, emphasizing the role of athletics in personal growth, teamwork, and intercultural understanding.
Kirby BoychukKirby Boychuk is a seasoned Athletics and Activities Director and educational leader, currently serving at the Western Academy of Beijing. With over two decades of international experience, Kirby has led and developed athletic and extracurricular programs across diverse global settings, including Russia, Ethiopia, India, Qatar, and Saudi Arabia. His career has been defined by his commitment to fostering inclusive, high-quality athletics programs that support students’ holistic growth. Known for creating student-centered programming, Kirby emphasizes teamwork, leadership, and resilience, believing in the power of sport and activity to nurture lifelong skills. A passionate advocate for accessible sports, he is dedicated to ensuring all students have opportunities to thrive.

Sarah HarmanSarah Harman is an experienced Athletics Director and educator committed to fostering an athletics program that prioritizes character, moral and ethical values, and leadership development in student-athletes. Currently the Athletics Director at ABA Oman International School, Sarah brings over 15 years of international experience, including previous leadership roles at Stamford American International School in Singapore and the American School of The Hague. Her career reflects a dedication to creating athletics programs that emphasize personal growth, well-being, and student-centered learning.
As an advocate for female empowerment in sports, Sarah is passionate about inspiring female athletes and supporting more women to step into coaching roles. Her holistic approach to athletics is grounded in the belief that sports provide an essential foundation for lifelong learning, leadership, and integrity. |
Kerstin BenderKerstin Bender is the Athletics Coordinator at the American School of Dubai, where she brings her leadership experience and commitment to fostering both broad participation and competitive excellence in athletics. With a wealth of international experience from her work in Germany, India, China, and Thailand, Kerstin leverages her multicultural perspective to create inclusive, impactful sports programs that inspire teamwork, resilience, and a lifelong passion for physical activity.
In addition to her role at ASD, Kerstin serves on the committee for the 10th IAAAC Conference, where her leadership helps shape this global gathering for athletic directors, coaches, aquatic specialists, and physical education teachers. She directs the conference’s social media, website and outreach initiatives, driving engagement and promoting collaboration and professional growth within the international school athletics community. |
Annie Constantinides - Chief Editor IAAAC Magazine

Annie Constantinides has been working at ACS Athens since 1986 as a Physical Education teacher and for the past 16 years is the Director of Athletics. She earned a BA in Physical Education and French Language and an MA in Exercise Physiology from McGill University, Canada. She has received a M.Sc in Sport Management through University of Louisville and an MBA through University of Indianapolis. Annie has been involved in the professional sport scene, as a national and international athlete and as a sport manager in a number of global events: Olympic Games (Sydney 2000, Athens 2004, Beijing 2008), World Special Olympic Games (Athens 2011, Los Angeles, 2015) and other. Annie is a recipient of a number of awards, including the "Women and Sport Achievement Diploma" by the International Olympic Committee. In the past decade, Ms. Constantinides has visited a number of higher education institutions in the United States as part of her work in creating opportunities for international student athletes and made presentations to professional conferences.
Lynn Kachmarik - Board of Governors, Member at Large

Lynn serves as the National Outreach Director for Play Like a Champion Today, University of Notre Dame. Lynn’s role is to grow the IAAAC partnerships around the USA and Internationally. Lynn has 40+ years of experience in youth, high school, college, and professional sports. Lynn was an All-American Water Polo Player and Swimmer at Slippery Rock University where she received her BS and MS Degrees. She was also a 12-year member of the United States National Water Polo team and then served on their Executive Committee. Throughout an 18 year career at Bucknell University, Lynn held various coaching positions as the head coach for the Men's and Women's Water Polo and Swim teams. Lynn served as the athletic director at Saint Mary’s College for 10 years and moved on to become the Vice President and General Manager of the South Bend Silver Hawks Minor League Baseball Team.

Catherine Tanco-Ong - East Asia
Catherine Tanco-Ong, fondly known as Kat, is currently the Director for Student Activities at Brent International School Manila in the Philippines. She has been an AD for a relatively short time of 3 years. Prior to that, Kat had a professional back round in broadcasting having worked for a local TV station for 12 years. Kat is passionate about coaching and still coaches’ volleyball and softball despite her busy AD schedule. She also continues to live an active life, playing competitive volleyball and golf.
